Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Mount Pleasant, AL, to welcome customers and assist with product selection and services for home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help locate merchandise, and ensure their needs are met with friendly, efficient service.

The role offers part-time flexibility, store-based duties, and opportunities to learn across departments while building practical trade knowledge in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies where needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately, ensuring on-time receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/pack items).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
