Job summary

Benchmark Therapy and Rehab is seeking compassionate and driven Physical Therapist Assistants to join our home care therapy team, serving geriatric patients in a home health setting.

You will assist one or more Physical Therapists, prepare patients and equipment, guide exercises, provide hands-on treatments, and document responses. Requires PTA graduation and state licensure; valid driver's license preferred. Flexible schedules and mileage reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Valid state PTA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists in evaluating and providing treatment to patients in home care.
• Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans.
• Instructs patients and guides them through exercises and stretching.
• Provides hands-on therapy and treatments.
• Records patient responses to treatment and reports progress to the therapist.
• Reports to the supervising physical therapist.
