Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a friendly front-of-house team member in Milwaukee to deliver exceptional service and create personalized guest experiences.

You’ll greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate billing while continually learning about our menu and wine offerings. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the POS system.
• Accurate billing and money handling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences.
• Motivated and flexible with initiative.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, attend to tables, and deliver timely service.
• Provide knowledge of menu, wine, and beverages to guests.
• Take orders and process in POS accurately.
• Open bottled wine and wine service.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of stations and bussing.
• Maintain communication with team; attend trainings.
• Ensure memorable guest experiences and handle complaints.
