Job summary

Stater Bros. Markets, Inc. is seeking a General Merchandise Clerk (GMC) to provide G.O.A.T. service at the front end and in-store departments. You will assist customers, bag groceries, and help maintain checkout efficiency.

The role also involves stocking shelves, organizing displays, fulfilling ecommerce orders, and supporting Floral and Produce areas. A versatile, team-oriented candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining professionalism (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with questions, locate products, and handle out-of-stock issues.
• Bag groceries and help load items into vehicles.
• Keep carts organized and ensure clean aisles and safe environment.
• Stock shelves, build displays, and manage price changes as directed.
• Process ecommerce orders, pack items, and communicate substitutions or delays.
