Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service at all times.
• Ability to work well within the team and follow directions with a good attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading skills for handling pricing, labels, equipment, and inventory.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel for up to four to eight hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must adhere to store policies and procedures including safety standards and collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist with customer questions, locating products, and communicating issues to store management.
• Bag groceries carefully and assist with loading groceries to vehicles.
• Ensure shopping carts are gathered and organized at store entrances for customer use.
• Stock shelves, displays, end caps, and price items with accurate signage.
• Follow bread procedures for working and writing orders; build GMC displays per planograms.
• Maintain backroom organization and safety; rotate produce; manage pricing changes.
• Receive online orders, inspect items for damage, and prepare for pickup or delivery.
• Stock and maintain floral inventory and seasonal displays.
• Operate store equipment safely and collaborate with team for smooth operations.
