Qualifications

• Education: High School Grad or Equivalent.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a state vehicle.
• Experience: 1 year in record-keeping, auditing, or related work.
• Knowledge of auditing and investigative methods, practices and procedures.
• Ability to monitor status and progress of projects.
• Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports.
• Ability to use computers and applicable programs and systems.

Responsibilities

• Audits and reviews construction project records.
• Verifies contractor compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Trains others on audit procedures.
• Coordinates with area engineers on monthly and final estimates, change orders, and work orders.
• Prepares related correspondence and reports.
• Ensures compliance with EEO, DBE, and other programs.
