TxDOT is looking for an experienced Construction Recordkeeper I, II or III in the Greenville Area Office located in Greenville, Tx. We are looking for a detailed-oriented individual to support our team by maintaining accurate records and documentation for ongoing projects. In this role, you’ll assist with tracking materials, verifying work reports, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. You’ll work closely with supervisors to keep everything organized and running smoothly. Maintains construction project records and processes related paperwork; reviews and modifies contract documents to reflect changes to original agreement; monitors records to verify compliance with state and federal laws and determines payments due contractor for work completed. Work requires contact with contractors. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Education: High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience:
Construction Recordkeeper I: No experience is required
Construction Recordkeeper II: 1 year of Record-keeping, bookkeeping or other related experience.
Construction Recordkeeper III: 4 YEARS Record-keeping, bookkeeping, or other related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related college education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
