Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Respiratory Therapist for direct patient care across respiratory services. The role involves following physician orders, evaluating therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for medical staff.

GIG highlights include $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT with variable shift incentives. Flexible day/night options and no weekend, holiday, or fixed shift requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Hold the RRT or CRT credential awarded by NBRC; PALS for ER; ACLS is required.
• Experience: Must have one year of experience, not including orientation.
• Other: Physical demands include push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Preferred Experience: Critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.

Formation

CoArc approved Respiratory Care program

Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
