Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield, Joplin and surrounding communities seeks Respiratory Therapists for a flexible RRT/CRT gig. You will perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders, and consult on therapy effectiveness. Work on day or night shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Base rates range from $30 to $35 per hour, with variable shift incentives. W-2 employment with 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC credentials: RRT or CRT.
• ACLS is required; PALS for ER workers.
• One year of experience (excluding orientation).

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
