Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Service Repair Technician, Flexible Robotics in Santa Clara, CA to service and repair robotic platforms and electro-mechanical systems per GMP and GDP.

You will collaborate with site Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, set up test stations, install software/firmware, document results, and maintain inventory while delivering high system uptime.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 2 years of related experience in service repair or robotics
• Experience configuring computer hardware and software
• Experience with robotic platforms testing and repairing
• Familiarity with GMP and GDP practices
• Knowledge of robotic surgical devices domain (HID, Console, Table, Arm, Tower, Tool drivers)
• Experience with installation, testing, and validation of electro-mechanical systems
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of designated electronic or mechanical products per quality standards
• Set up and operate electro-mechanical equipment to perform repairs and log test data
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to determine root causes
• Document test plans, results, and traceability to requirements
• Maintain test stations, inventory, and calibration/verification equipment
• Assist with software/firmware installation and configuration for table control systems
• Ensure GMP/GDP compliance and high system uptime

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or related field
