Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Service Repair Technician to repair, test, and upgrade complex robotic electromechanical assemblies in a regulated medical device setting. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Failure Analysis, R&D and the warehouse to troubleshoot failures, document results, and ensure compliance with GMP and GDP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years medical device or capital equipment experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Understand GMP and GDP principles.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair or perform upgrades on robotic platform subsystems to return units to service-ready condition.
• Disassemble/assemble and repair mechanical and electrical components with hand tools.
• Document test plans, DHRs, rework, repairs and results traceably for audits.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis and verify corrective actions.
• Support customer satisfaction through upgrade, repair and product support.
• Follow GMP/GDP procedures and craft records per Quality System.
• Operate equipment per work instructions and provide symptom descriptions for faults.
