PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake in Webster, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care on the medical-surgical unit under nursing leadership. The role emphasizes using the nursing process, discharge planning, and teaching to patients and families, with opportunities for growth and a supportive leadership team.

Current Texas RN license and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred and will be required after 90 days for certain roles.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days.
• ACLS required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families for post-hospital care.
• Perform duties including Charge Nurse as assigned.
