Job summary

PAM Health in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit using the nursing process. You will coordinate discharges, educate patients and families for post-hospital care, and access community resources as needed.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the state or compact licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses. Prior inpatient med-surg experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties.
