Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide, direct and supervise patient care on the unit. The RN will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care, including discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS (ACLS for Charge Nurses) with ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access community resources.
