Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a patient-centered unit. You will use the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting discharge planning.

The role requires current RN licensure (state or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 90 days (ACLS for Charge Nurses). Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds current RN licensure in the state of employment or via compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.
• BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and access community resources.
• May perform other duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS required).
