Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Float Pool. The RN will float to multiple departments and sites, providing patient care in alignment with established standards and collaborating with clinical managers.

The role includes night/evening shifts and involvement in staffing coordination. The position requires an RN license, at least 1 year of acute care experience, and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the designated state of employment (required).
• 1 year of RN experience in acute care (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS as per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments and sites to provide patient care.
• Assist in scheduling day-of staffing and travel/seasonal assignments.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care using evidence-based practice.
• Document care and ensure accurate age-appropriate interventions.
