Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the Float Pool for Med Surg/Intermediate. The role requires at least 1 year of acute care nursing and includes night shifts, 36 hours per week, and weekend work across Youngstown, Boardman, and Warren.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, float across departments, and participate in quality improvement. Licensure in the state and BLS; ACLS/PALS as applicable are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in designated state of employment (required).
• 1 year of RN experience in acute care (required).
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications as per specialty (preferred at hire).

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple sites within the market based on competency.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care using best available evidence.
• Formulate and implement patient care plans and document appropriately.
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
