Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an RN for the Clinical Float Pool in the Cincinnati market. The role involves floating to multiple departments and sites to provide direct patient care based on defined staffing tiers.

The RN will plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with clinical managers, and using best practices to ensure safety and quality across shifts. BLS and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the designated state (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• ACLS and PALS per assignment (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments and sites within the market as needed.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per standards.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the healthcare team and managers.
• Document care plans, interventions and responses to treatment.
• Support quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
