Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. Enjoy a flexible schedule with projects ranging in scope from merchandising to inventory audits across multiple retailers and brands.

Typical monthly commitments are 12–20 hours, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month. This role offers independent work, ongoing opportunities, and dailyPay enrollment for eligible contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with merchandising, retail, resets, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports with photos on the same day services are performed.
