Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide independent contractor network and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. The role offers flexible, supplemental income with project-based pay across major retailers and brands. Assignments include merchandising, resets, audits, inventory, and display maintenance with service windows across the country.

Contractors review project instructions, execute to client specs, and report via mobile devices. Travel between locations and self-manage schedules are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
