Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This flexible, contractor role involves servicing major retailers and brands with 12–20 hours per month on typical projects.

Assignments vary and may include merchandising, product resets, cut-ins, inventory audits, display maintenance, POP installations, and stocking. Travel between locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefer merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
