Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments include merchandising, resets, audits, stocking, and display maintenance. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some service windows requiring work in the first two weeks of each month. You’ll work independently with mobile reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
Ability to read planograms and merchandising instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, mainly weekday daytime hours.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
Travel between retail locations as needed.
Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
