Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible, supplemental income servicing major retailers and brands with windows rather than fixed schedules.

Assignments typically range 12–20 hours per month, include merchandising, resets, audits, stocking, and displays. You’ll travel between locations, report via mobile device, and select projects that fit your availability while earning competitive, project-based pay.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
