Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with service windows at top retailers and brands across the United States.

Projects range from 12–20 hours monthly, including early-month availability and occasional first-two-weeks-of-month service. Ideal candidates will review client instructions, execute merchandising tasks, perform resets, inventories, and reporting via mobile devices,

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
