Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule and supplemental income while servicing major retailers and brands.

Assignments cover merchandising, resets, audits, displays, and inventory tasks, typically 12–20 hours per month, with some windows in the first two weeks of each month. If you enjoy independent work, staying active, and delivering high-quality retail execution, we'd love to

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, mainly weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and presented correctly.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
