Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to service major retailers. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with project-based pay and no fixed schedule; you control your workload by selecting assignments that fit your availability.

Typical projects range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations needing service during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
