Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with projects at major retailers and brands across the United States.

Assignments are typically 12–20 hours per month, with windows set by clients. You’ll review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, and report outcomes via mobile reporting, traveling between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations prior to each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports with photos on the same day services are performed.
