Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands, with typical projects ranging from 12 to 20 hours per month and service windows rather than fixed schedules.

You’ll perform merchandising, product resets, inventory checks, display maintenance, and reporting via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile tools for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
