Job summary

SFS is expanding its national retail network and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join as independent contractors. You will work on merchandising, product resets, audits, and display maintenance across multiple retailers, with flexible windows and project-based pay.

Assignments typically require 12-20 hours per month, offer DailyPay enrollment, and let you choose projects that fit your schedule. You’ll travel between locations, report via mobile, and build your own flexible,

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
