Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands, with windows rather than fixed schedules.

Projects typically range 12–20 hours per month, across various merchandising tasks, including resets, stock, displays, and reporting via mobile devices. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, reliable, and able to travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
