Job summary

SFS is a growing network of independent contractors providing merchandising, auditing, installation, and other retail support across the United States. Join as a Retail Merchandiser to service major retailers with a flexible schedule, project-based pay, and opportunities to work with multiple brands.

Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
