Job summary

SFS, Inc. is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. You’ll service major retailers with flexible, project-based work and set your own schedule.

Typical tasks include merchandising, product resets, audits, display maintenance, and reporting via mobile devices. Assignments range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued products and materials as needed.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and well-presented.
• Travel between retail locations as required and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
