Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support store operations and help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests.

The role includes receiving and unpacking daily shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning of facilities as assigned by store management. This position requires a flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods).

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out.
• When shipping items to guests and other stores, fold items and place them in an appropriately sized box for proper presentation upon unpacking.
• Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in.
• Place Sensormatic tags on each garment in the designated place.
• Hang and fold merchandise to be put on the sales floor, steam when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of Point of Sale software and receive freight boxes.
