Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated Qualified Cover Teachers to join our network of secondary schools across Boston and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, with the chance to work across multiple schools and year groups.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, maintain a calm, productive classroom, and adapt quickly to different schools and subjects while building positive relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and a calm, positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication with pupils and staff.
• Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with pupils.
• Enthusiastic attitude toward pupil progress and school life.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools, subjects, year groups.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Adaptability and resilience across different educational settings.
• High standards of professional behaviour, presentation and integrity.
• Willingness to engage in professional development and respond to feedback.
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Completion of Connex Education onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and continuity of learning across secondary schools.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons when required and support pupil learning.
• Maintain and improve classroom behaviour and learning environment.
• Establish positive relationships with students and staff.
• Be adaptable to different schools, subjects and year groups.
