Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated Qualified Cover Teachers to join our network of secondary schools across Lincoln and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible teaching work, whether regular cover or additional days alongside another role, with opportunities to vary schedules.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, maintain a calm learning environment and build positive relationships with students and staff across different schools and subjects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to maintain a calm, positive learning environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Open to flexible teaching opportunities across different schools and roles.
• DBS check (enhanced) is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of secondary schools and year groups.
• Provide continuity of learning when a class teacher is absent.
• Establish a calm, purposeful classroom environment and manage behaviour.
• Support pupils with their learning and adapt to different school expectations.
