Mercy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Wisconsin. You will work with experienced Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, reduce pain, and restore mobility on a flexible PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Associate's degree required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA).
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Less than one year of experience required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Assist with patient evaluations, functional testing, and treatment progression.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Help create a positive, patient-centered experience focused on achieving goals and improving quality of life.
