Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) is seeking a Rehabilitation Flex Team Member (Physical Therapy Assistant) to provide skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation services on a flexible, as-needed basis.

The role involves assisting licensed therapists, building strong resident relationships, and collaborating with the care team to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation. Competitive hourly pay with a benefits package and opportunities to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant state license; CPR certification.
• Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents.
• Must communicate clearly with residents in person and over the phone.
• Visual acuity to read information from printed sources and computer screens.

Responsibilities

• Provides services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, working as a trusted partner within the care team.
• Documents resident care services according to approved medical and facility documentation procedures.
• Assists physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures.
• Builds rapport and trust with residents and supports recovery.
• Collaborates with team members to maintain a supportive workplace culture.
• Helps residents use devices like crutches, canes, and prostheses.
