Job summary

Cappella Living Solutions is seeking a Rehabilitation Flex Team Member to provide PTA-assisted clinical services at our Denver-area communities. The role involves partnering with licensed therapists and supporting residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, documenting care, guiding residents through therapeutic activities, and collaborating with the care team to foster a respectful, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• 2-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant state license; CPR certification.
• Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents through physical activities.
• Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with residents in person and over the phone.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.

• Contributes to the physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying resident care issues and communicating them clearly.

• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting residents in performing physical activities.
• Builds rapport and trust with residents, taking time to understand what motivates and encourages each individual through their recovery.
• Helps residents in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
• Instructs and counsels residents by describing therapeutic regimens, sharing normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
• Collaborates closely with fellow team members, contributing to a supportive, inclusive workplace culture where diverse backgrounds and perspectives are welcomed and celebrated.

Pay range is $27.90 to $39.20 / hour BOE

Position Summary

On a flexible, as-needed basis, provides clinical services to all residents residing at Communities of Christian Living Communities (CLC). These services will include skilled nursing, assisted living, and/or rehabilitation services.

Rehabilitation Flex Team Members are exempt from a multiple-shift requirement, and are encouraged to cover needs at multiple sites as they are able.

Assists physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. This role is as much about building genuine relationships with residents and colleagues as it is about clinical skill - we believe every person, team member and resident alike, brings unique strengths and perspectives that make our community stronger.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, including assisting residents when needed.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with residents in person and over the phone.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of residents and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Position requires medium-heavy physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up more than 45 pounds of force repeatedly to move objects.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members and visitors frequently.
