Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist for a partner hospital in Lewiston, Maine. The role requires expertise in ultrasound exams, patient positioning, and imaging transfer to PACS. Shifts are available days or nights on a PRN basis, with compensation paid per shift.

Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT certification within 90 days, and current BCLS certification. A one-year hospital radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Ultrasound Technologist in acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and equipment for ultrasound examinations and ensure high-quality images.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Maintain proficiency in performing all ultrasound exams and support interpretation by radiologists.
