Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for assignments in Lewiston or Bridgton, ME. The role requires competency in all ultrasound exams, patient positioning, and producing quality diagnostic scans for interpretation.

Responsibilities include imaging, PACS transmission, and ensuring proper recording. Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience and RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT certification within 90 days of hire are required, along with BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT certification in at least one body/region.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of ultrasound experience in an acute care hospital or Radiology/Imaging setting.
• Current BCLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and produce diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and record appropriate data.
• Transmit images to PACS and ensure proper documentation.
