Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist in Lewiston, ME. The Ultrasound Department role requires competency in performing all ultrasound exams, patient positioning, and producing recordings for PACS. Shifts available are days or nights for a 12-week assignment.

Minimum experience in acute care, RDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days, and current BCLS are required. Pay ranges from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour, with per-shift gross payments and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital, Radiology/Imaging required. 2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain4. 6 months to 1 year of previous experience required.5. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.6. Proficient computer skills

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
