Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for assignments in Lewiston, ME or Bridgton, ME. The role requires competency in performing ultrasound exams and transmitting images to PACS. Shifts available Days or Nights.

Minimum one year of acute care ultrasound experience, graduation from an accredited program or current certification within 90 days, and RDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days are required. BCLS must be current.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital or radiology/imaging department.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of previous experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams with proficiency, producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and ensure appropriate recording; transmit images to PACS.
