Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team serving residents in a long-term care setting.

The SLP will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide AAC; educate residents and caregivers and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic procedures as ordered. New grads welcome; flexible schedules and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certification
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards

Responsibilities

• Evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits in residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve cognition or swallowing
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with expressive/language disorders
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic procedures as needed
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and billing records
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable laws
