Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team in a SNF/long-term care setting. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with caregivers to achieve measurable improvements in swallowing and cognition.

Responsibilities include AAC implementation, education for residents and families, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation and billing. New grads welcome; flexible schedules offered.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with regulatory boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve cognition or swallowing.
• Provide AAC systems for severe language disorders.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic procedures.
• Document billing and clinical records accurately and timely.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with laws.
