Job summary

Hillsboro Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN/as-needed coverage. You’ll assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance activities, and document resident progress.

Ideal candidates hold a PTA license in Ohio and are graduates of an accredited PTA program, with strong communication and teamwork. Skilled nursing/post-acute care experience is a plus; flexible scheduling supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred but not required.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate findings with the therapy team.
• Accurately document treatments and resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals.
