Job summary

Emerald Care Center Southwest in Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Rehab team. You will support physical therapists, assist with treatment plans, and help residents regain mobility.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and Oklahoma PTA licensure. Prior SNF experience is preferred but not required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting required.
• Oklahoma PTA licensure required.
• Experience in SNF or rehab setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing and modifying treatment plans with patients.
• Document progress notes, treatment outcomes, and responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and home programs.
• Set up and maintain therapeutic equipment and aids.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses and staff for coordinated care.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment and comply with policies.
