Job summary

Stratford Manor Health & Rehab in North Carolina is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will deliver hands-on therapy under a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility in state of practice.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide physical therapy treatments to improve mobility, strength, and independence.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and rehabilitation team members.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures as directed.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises and techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and standards of patient care.
