Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a PRN position in Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. You will assess, treat, and re-evaluate clients in real-life settings to improve functional mobility and independence.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative team, delivering home, community, and clinical-based therapy with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
