Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is hiring a Physical Therapist for the PRN/Flexible role in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate is an experienced PT passionate about functional rehabilitation in various community settings, not just clinical.

You will create your schedule, get paid per hour, and receive mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a team to enhance patient outcomes. A Bachelor's degree and relevant state licensing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Re-assess treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Communicate patient needs to the treatment team.

Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury

Effective communication in verbal and written interactions

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Bending/stooping and transferring patients

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Tools

Basic Life Support or CPR certification
