Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services, through Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, seeks a flexible Physical Therapist (PT) for El Paso, TX. This PRN position emphasizes providing functional rehabilitation in real-life settings, including home, school, work, and community environments.

You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Standing/walking for extended periods and other physical requirements.
• Health screen may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
